Is the program accredited? CAP has consistently maintained the highest accreditation rating of the national Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF).
Is there a strong commitment to the development of qualified professional staff? In addition to careful pre-employment screening, CAP staff receive
continuous in-service training, close supervision and regular performance evaluations.
How long has the agency been providing services to people in Contra Costa County? Is the agency financially stable? CAP is part of Contra Costa ARC
which has provided high quality services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in this county consistently since 1965. Our stability and our reputation have grown steadily.
Is the agency non-profit or for-profit? Contra Costa ARC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to using all its resources to benefit
people with developmental disabilities.
